Larry Paulson Appointed To Governor's Climate Advisory Team

Gov. Christine Gregoire, D-Wash., has appointed Larry Paulson, the Port of Vancouver's executive director, to her Climate Advisory Team. The Department of Ecology and the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development built the Climate Advisory Team to assist the governor in creating climate change policies and strategies.

Before joining the Port of Vancouver, Paulson served as the primary attorney for the port beginning in 1992, when he was with the law offices of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. In addition to his law career, he was Brigadier General in the Oregon Air National Guard, where his last position was chief of staff and commander for the Air National Guard state headquarters. He retired from the Oregon Air National Guard in 1999 after serving over 31 years.
