North American Windpower: SafeWorks Appoints Salter As Director Of HR

Seattle-based SafeWorks LLC, a manufacturer of powered access and safety solutions for a variety of construction and maintenance industries, recently welcomed Joe Salter as director of human resources. In his new role, Salter will be responsible for the overall administration and evaluation of human resources functions and serve as a key member of the senior leadership team.

Salter joins SafeWorks from Sprint Nextel Corp., where he was the area manager of human resources. Prior to Sprint Nextel, he held director and manager positions at Applied Microsystems, Starbucks Coffee and Rockwell International.
