Shear Wind Announces Continuance Under Canada Business Corporations Act | in News Departments > FYI | by NAW Staff on Tuesday 09 March 2010   |
Halifax, Nova Scotia-based Shear Wind Inc. has announced that the continuance of the company under the Canada Business Corporations Act, approved by Shear Wind's shareholders at the annual and special meeting of shareholders held in February, is now complete.
The company received a Certificate of Continuance with an effective date of March 1.
In related news, Jose Fernandez Olano has been elected to serve on Shear Wind's board of directors. The five-member board of directors of Shear Wind now comprises Olano, Luis Garcia Jimenez, Antonio de la Morena Pardo, Michael J. Wheatley and Gary F. MacKenzie.
