Third Annual Clean Energy Competition In Effect

Sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum Energy Special Interest Group, the third annual Ignite Clean Energy competition is accepting applications until March 5. It provides start-up clean energy companies and entrepreneurs with the opportunities to develop business skills, network with industry professionals and attract potential investors.

The competition, which began in 2004 to stimulate the growth of renewable energy, will provide a total of $200,000 in cash and services to the top five finalists, including $30,000 worth of public relations services and office space for the grand-prize winner. Participants can be a team that wants to start a company, inventors who need business expertise, entrepreneurs who need people with novel technologies and enthusiasts who want to join teams.
