Montreal, Quebec-based wind turbine manufacturer AAER Inc. has signed an agreement for the delivery of a 1.65 MW wind turbine to the Massachusetts Municipal Light Department Wind Energy Cooperative for the Templeton Municipal Light & Water Plant in Baldwinville, Mass.

"We believe that our turbine will be able to generate approximately 10 percent of the town's annual electricity requirements for the residential segment," says Dave Gagnon, president and CEO of AAER.

The A-1650 turbine is scheduled for delivery to Templeton during the
fourth quarter of this year. The contract, worth approximately $2.6 million, includes a warranty and a five-year operation and maintenance service agreement.
