Norway, Iowa-based Frontier Natural Products Co-op, a manufacturer of organic products, has purchased enough Green-e certified green tags from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) to offset 100% of its energy at the company's Iowa and Colorado facilities.

"Offsetting our environmental footprint with green tags from wind and solar power is an ideal extension of our commitment to sustainability," says Kathy Larson, vice president of sustainability and education for Frontier.

In addition, the company will offer an incentive for consumers to purchase green tags from BEF. With each green tag purchase of $120 or more through Frontier's Web site, www.frontiercoop.com, customers receive a free gift with products from Frontier, Simply Organic and Aura Cacia.
