Miami-based Atlantic Wind & Solar Inc. (AWSL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding the building of a progressive business relationship between AWSL and a Canadian renewable energy company that would be beneficial in furthering their common interests and respective businesses in the evolving renewable energy infrastructure boom.

With a focus on wind and solar power, the relationship would center on the most dynamic sectors of the renewable energy industry and involve the potential purchase by AWSL of a significant interest in the Canadian company.

As both companies are focused upon the technology-led renewable energy industry, many opportunities exist for such an alliance in the areas of technology sharing, product development and marketing, as well as installation and ownership of electricity generating facilities powered by wind and solar.
