The Ontario Ministry of the Environment has approved an environmental assessment (EA) for Toronto-based Schneider Power Inc.'s 10 MW Arthur Wind Farm project, located in Arthur, Ontario.

"The timing of the approval is consistent with the construction schedule for the project, with completed installation of the turbines currently planned for the end of the year," says Thomas Schneider, president of the company.

The Arthur Wind Farm, part of the Arthur Wind Farm LP with Energy Farming Invest Inc., has secured a long-term power purchase agreement with the Ontario Power Authority.
