Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Signal Wind Energy LLC has completed the first phase of the Great Plains Wind Park in Hansford County, Texas. This is the company's 20th project.

Signal Wind's typical scope of work includes all aspects of wind project balance of plant design and construction, including the design and construction of all civil infrastructure, wind turbine generator foundations, electrical collection systems, substations and interconnection facilities, transmission lines, as well as wind turbine erection.

Noble Environmental Power's Great Plains Wind Park is expected to produce 114 MW of power.
