Shasta College EWD is offering the first Utility-Scale Wind Generation Technician training in the Redding, Calif., area.

This not-for-credit, fee-based course consists of 12 modules, including climbing and repelling,
electrical theory, maintenance, troubleshooting, service reporting, and safety. The course covers all areas identified by the wind industry as necessary for an entry-level technician.

Classes are held on weekends to allow employed students to continue working during training.
