McGregor, Texas-based RTLC Windtowers Inc., a subsidiary of RTLC Industries Inc., has announced that construction of its 180,000 square-foot wind tower fabrication and coating facility is under way. The plant is expected to be in full production in January 2009.

Initial production of the facility will support in excess of 400 MW of installed power. RTLC Windtowers will be utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, such as ESAB Oxy/Fuel and Plasma cutting machines, and Davi Rolls.

At completion, the use of the automated coating facility will ensure the quality and efficiency of the painting process, according to RTLC.
