Three Northwind 100 wind turbines were installed in Hooper Bay, Alaska, for the Alaska Village Electric Cooperative. The planned commission for these turbines is set for August.

Two Alaskans, Julius Bell and Larry Lake, recently completed Northwind's wind technician training program in Barre, Vt., and played a large role in the erection and installation of these units, according to the company.
