Converter Manufacturer Coming to Quebec

Xantrex Technology Inc. has signed a letter of intent with Gentec Inc. and Controle Electricque R.K. Inc. to establish wind converter manufacturing capability in Matane, Quebec, to support local content requirements for the Hydro Quebec wind energy tenders.

Gentec and Controle R.K. will establish a contract manufacturing facility to produce Xantrex wind converters. Xantrex will provide training, production processes and quality systems to allow for a quick response to customer requirements.
