South Dakota's congressional delegation, local elected officials and community members are gathering for the official opening of PPM Energy's MinnDakota Wind Power Project, located in South Dakota and Minnesota.

The MinnDakota Wind Power Project includes 100 wind turbines and 150 MW of capacity. Power generated from the wind project will be delivered under a contract with Xcel Energy.
