SUEZ Energy Resources NA, the U.S. retail energy business of SUEZ Energy North America, has renewed a contract with Starwood Westin. Starwood has purchased approximately 5% of its energy load in the form of Green-e certified renewable energy credits (RECs) for its Westin Copley Place hotel in Boston.

Westin Copley Place Boston has purchased a total of 678 national wind RECs.

"We are pleased to be able to offer our customers more environmentally friendly energy in the form of RECs, and we enjoy seeing current customers like Westin Copley Place Boston take leading roles in adopting environmentally sound energy practices," says Michel Sirat, president and CEO of SUEZ Energy Resources.
