Wind turbine manufacturer Nordic Windpower Ltd. has opened its new North American office in Berkeley, Calif. The company's management team for North America is located at this new office, at 125 University Ave., Berkeley, CA 94710. Nordic Windpower also has offices in Bristol, England, and Taby, Sweden.

"With a world-class university and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley is a global center for renewable energy and clean technology research and innovation," says Steve Taber, CEO and co-founder of Nordic Windpower. "Nordic Windpower is expanding very rapidly and will be creating dozens of new engineering, sales and technical positions to meet the growing global demand for low-cost, highly reliable wind turbines."
