David Ames, CEO and president of Xethanol Corp., a renewable energy company, has joined the CEO Council of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), a nonprofit organization that promotes renewable energy options, including wind, solar, waste-to-energy and biofuels. ACORE deals with markets, finance and policy and organizes major events that bring together the renewable energy community.

"I am honored by ACORE's invitation to join the CEO council," says Ames. "Our membership in ACORE underscores our expanding business strategy aimed at key sectors in renewable energy."
