The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the purchase of renewable energy credits. Through RFP 1168, "Renewable Portfolio Standard Program Purchase of Renewable Energy Attributes," NYSERDA seeks to procure the environmental attributes created by eligible generation resources under New York's renewable portfolio standard program.

Notices of intent to bid are due immediately, and NYSERDA will hold a bidders' teleconference on Nov. 6.
