Seminole Financial Services, a Florida-based investment firm, has closed $7.35 million in funding for the construction and installation of three single-turbine wind projects in California with developer Foundation Windpower (FWP).

The three projects represent a combined capacity of 3.6 MW: the 1 MW Soledad Wind Project at the City of Soledad Wastewater Treatment Plant; the 1 MW Golden Acorn Casino Wind Project at the Golden Acorn Casino in San Diego County; and the 1.6 MW Anheuser-Busch II Wind Project.

Seminole explains that the latter project is the second wind facility it has financed for FWP at Anheuser-Busch’s Fairfield, Solano County, facility. The project will be situated near the original wind turbine, which was constructed in 2011.

Since 2009, Seminole says it has closed over 150 MW totaling more than $490 million in construction financing and permanent debt financing for solar and wind transactions.
