CWind, a U.K.-based offshore wind services company, has won a renewal of its contract to provide turbine technician services to Siemens.

Over the next two years, CWind will be providing turbine technicians for the offshore installation of Siemens turbines during the construction of a number of U.K. offshore wind farms. The technicians will work on lifting and installing components, the cabling, mechanical and electrical completion of turbines, as well as hand-over inspections.

CWind has worked with Siemens UK for over a year now, providing technicians for onshore pre-assembly, offshore construction and installation services at the London Array, Teesside, Gwynt y Mor, Lincs and West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farms.
