Senvion SE, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Suzlon Group, has received a 67.65 MW order from Scottish energy firm SSE.

Under the contract, Senvion will supply 33 Senvion MM82 wind turbines to SSE's new Strathy North Wind Farm, located near the village of Strathy in Sutherland, Scotland. The turbines will be installed in early 2015 before a period of testing and commissioning, and the site will be fully operational toward the end of next year.

Senvion notes that this deal represents its fourth contract with SSE.
