Thanks to a strong number of installations this year - combined with more than 1.4 GW installed last year - Suzlon subsidiary Senvion has eclipsed 10 GW of global installed capacity.

According to Senvion, European installations - on land and in water - accounted for the lion's share of the total. In Germany, Senvion says it installed a total capacity of 2.8 GW by the end of 2013. The North American market comprised 1.8 GW of installed capacity, Senvion notes.
