A2SEA has signed a contract with DONG Energy to install 97 turbines for the Gode Wind 1 and 2 offshore wind projects, located in the German North Sea.

In the first half of 2015, A2SEA will begin installing the Siemens 6 MW turbines, each with a 154-meter rotor. The company says it will deploy its second-generation offshore installation vessel SEA INSTALLER on Gode Wind 1 (330 MW) and Gode Wind 2 (252 MW), and the projects are expected to be fully commissioned in the second half of 2016.
