The Green Power pricing program offered by Wyoming utility cooperative Lower Valley Energy (LVE) has been Green-e certified by San Francisco-based Center for Resource Solutions. The program, offered to LVE customers in and around Jackson, Wyo., since 2003, is sourced from wind facilities in the state - predominantly the Foote Creek II Wind Project near Laramie.

"Green-e welcomes Lower Valley Energy to the Green-e renewable energy certification program," says Alex Pennock, a Green-e associate. "Green Power is the first Green-e certified renewable electricity program offered in Wyoming, and we are pleased that LVE's customers will have easy access to certified, local renewable energy through their utility."
