Boralex Inc., Gaz Metro and Valener Inc. have announced commercial commissioning of the first 131 MW of the Seigneurie de Beaupre Wind Farms within the projected time frame.

Located in Quebec, the Seigneurie de Beaupre Wind Farms are being built as phases and will total 365 MW. According to the companies, the first 62 Enercon wind turbines are currently supplying energy to Quebec's power grid, and the remaining 141 MW of Phase I is expected to be commissioned within the next few days.

The 68 MW Phase II is slated to be commissioned next year, and a 25 MW community project will complete the Seigneurie de Beaupre Wind Farms in 2015.
