Suzlon Group subsidiary REpower Systems SE says it has installed the last of the 48 REpower 6M turbines for Thornton Bank, a project from Belgian offshore project development company C-Power.

According to REpower, the construction phase covers 18 REpower 6M turbines with a rated capacity of 6.15 MW. Thanks to a well-developed logistics plan and cooperation during turbine installation, the project was completed on time, notes REpower.

In terms of investment volume, the contract marks the largest financing for a completed project to date in the offshore wind industry, notes REpower.
