DONG Energy recently held an inauguration ceremony for the 230 MW Lincs Offshore Wind Farm. Located 8 km offshore Skegness, England, the wind farm is a joint venture between DONG Energy, Centrica and Siemens Project Ventures.

Currently, half of the 75 turbines are generating power as the commissioning work enters the final stage. DONG Energy says the whole site will be fully operational, weather allowing, by the end of August.
