Gamesa has signed a new contract to supply 46 MW of capacity to ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division, a subsidiary of the Indian group ITC.

The agreement calls for the installation and supply of 23 Gamesa G97-2.0 MW wind turbines at Tagguparthi, Andhra Pradesh state, as well as the operation and maintenance services. The commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2014.

Gamesa notes that this new contract adds to two orders reached in the last month in India: 130 MW to CLP India and 100 MW to Greenko.
