Aconex, a provider of software-as-a-service solutions, has announced two recent supply agreements with renewable energy developer Apex Wind Energy Inc.

Under the terms of the first agreement, Apex deployed the Aconex Online Collaboration Platform to manage construction of the recently completed 300 MW Canadian Hills wind facility near Oklahoma City, Okla. Under the second agreement, Apex will use the Aconex platform for information management on all future development projects.

"With the Aconex platform, our project teams can find what they need quickly and easily, without having to search layers of folders and then finding files that may not be current," says Joseph Sikorski, project controls manager at Apex. "Whether it is [a request for information], a document or a drawing, we have more confidence that all our team members and stakeholders are working with the same, up-to-date version.”
