Turbine construction is expected to begin later this year, and the projects are slated to be commissioned by year-end and the beginning of 2014.

“We are proud to announce the signature for 27 MW in Belgium, including the first three V112-3.0 MW turbines for this market,” states Hans Vestergaard, senior vice president of sales for Vestas Central Europe. “Further developing our long-term partnership with Aspiravi NV and Limburg win(d)t, one of the key players in the wind energy sector in Belgium, is part of our continuous efforts to meet our customers’ needs with efficient wind energy solutions.”
