General Compression, an Attleboro, Mass.-based developer of an on-demand wind energy technology called Dispatchable Wind, has named John Joyce senior development officer and Julianne Zimmerman chief marketing officer.

Joyce previously served as vice president of East Coast operations for Airtricity, where he helped establish a 500 MW portfolio of wind projects in New York and Pennsylvania. Prior to Airtricity, Joyce had a 20-year career at General Electric, where he negotiated more than $1 billion in global power plant equipment and services contracts.

Zimmerman has served as a member of the start-up team and director of business development of GreenFuel Technologies Corp., as well as vice president of engineering at Ovation Products. Additionally, she has 15 years' experience in the manned spaceflight sector.
