AEP Unit Seeking 200 MW Of Wind Energy

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M), an operating unit of American Electric Power (AEP), has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for up to 200 MW of new wind energy projects to be built in I&M's service territory.

The RFP seeks proposals from eligible projects and bidders for a long-term 20-year power purchase agreement. Construction of the new wind project(s) must begin this year and be operational by the end of 2014.

Potential bidders are required to pre-qualify to submit a proposal for this RFP. Pre-qualification forms are due on or before March 11.
