Knoxville, Tenn.-based Commtest, a manufacturer of vibration analysis instruments, has hired Mark Vowell as a senior application engineer. His additional duties at the company will include product training, providing expertise and technical documentation, and working with product development engineers in New Zealand to enhance future products.

Vowell brings to his new position over 16 years of experience with Emerson CSI, where he held positions of test engineer, field services engineer and manager of remote analysis.
