Availon Nets Maintenance Deal For Three Wind Farms

Availon says it has signed a 10-year maintenance contract with NIBC European Infrastructure Fund (NEIF) for three wind farms in Germany.

The projects - which are located in Schnellin (Sachsen-Anhalt), Helmstedt (Niedersachsen) and Buddenstedt (Niedersachsen), Germany - consist of 19 Vestas V80 2 MW wind turbines, for a total installed capacity of 38 MW.

Under the contract, Availon will perform regular maintenance on the Vestas turbines twice a year, as well as unscheduled maintenance when required.
