E.ON Climate & Renewables (EC&R) North America has dedicated the 100 MW Anacacho Wind Farm, which is located in Kinney County, Texas.

The project is situated approximately 14 miles southeast of Brackettville and consists of 55 Vestas 1.8 MW wind turbines. More than 200 people were hired for the construction of the project, and the wind farm will create approximately eight permanent positions.

The project represents EC&R's 18th operational wind farm in the U.S.
