Brownsville, Wis.-based construction services provider Michels Corp. has tapped Jim Black as its new general manager of Michels Wind Energy.

Previously, Black was the company's operations/quality manager and project manager. He succeeds Pat Herzog, who will become vice president of Michels Pipe Services.

As a result of owning three main erection cranes, the company has become more involved in heavy corrective work - a trend the company anticipates will conitinue this year.
