Commercial Energy's "Be Green" renewable energy certificate (REC) product has been Green-e certified by the San Francisco-based nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions.

By purchasing Commercial Energy's Be Green RECs, customers can support nationwide renewable resources as well as aid the development of new renewable resources to be built in the U.S., Commercial Energy says.

"Since opening in California in 2004, our clients have asked us to help them meet and exceed their environmental responsibilities with a fully qualified electricity product," says Ron Perry, CEO and co-founder of Commercial Energy, a utility with offices in Cut Bank, Mont., and Oakland, Calif. "Green-e certified RECs meet their requirements as well as ours."
