EDF Renewable Energy Flips Switch On Texas Wind Project

EDF Renewable Energy (formerly enXco) says the 150 MW Bobcat Bluff Wind Project, located in Archer County, Texas, has entered commercial operation.

The company acquired the project last March and commenced construction in April. The wind farm consists of 100 GE 1.5 MW wind turbines and spans approximately 12,500 acres.

The project will be operated and maintained by EDF Renewable Services (formerly enXco Service Corp.). EDF Trading will provide energy management services and act as the qualified scheduling entity.
