North American Windpower: Gamesa Nets Supply Deal With Chinese Wind Energy Developer

Gamesa has signed a 49.3 MW deal to supply 58 of its 850 kW wind turbines to China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Energy Ltd. for a wind farm being built in China's Shandong province.

The wind farm is scheduled to be connected to the grid by the end of this year.

The two companies have been collaborating on projects since 2009, and Gamesa has operated in China since 2000.
