Nordex Sells Wind Project To German Municipal Utility

Nordex has announced that Munich, Germany-based municipal utility Stadtwerke Munchen has acquired the Filieres wind project, which consists of four of Nordex's N90/2500 2.5 MW wind turbines.

The project is located in France's Lorraine region, and is currently in operation. Nordex's French subsidiary, Nordex France, developed the wind farm.

This project acquisition will help Stadtwerke Munchen reach its goal of powering the entire city of Munich with renewable energy by 2025.
