Wind energy developer Wind Capital Group says it dedicated its Post Rock Wind Farm in Ellsworth, Kan., this week.

The 201 MW wind farm utilizes 134 GE 1.5 MW wind turbines. The project also included the construction of a 31-mile electric transmission line in Kansas' Ellsworth, Lincoln and Rice Counties, and the wind farm will be interconnected to the Rice County substation. The project commenced commercial operation on Oct. 4.
