Windreich Sells 210 MW Wind Project To Private Equity Firm

Windreich AG has signed a deal to sell the 210 MW Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm, located in the North Sea, to an unnamed private equity firm.

The project comprises 42 AREVA Multibrid 5 MW wind turbines and is worth over 1 billion euros, according to Windreich.

The project is located about 30 km northwest of another Windreich project - Global Tech I - which is currently under construction.
