Mortenson Construction Opens New Office In Oregon

Mortenson Construction, a provider of construction services to the wind energy sector and other industries, has opened a new office in Portland, Ore.

The company says that with several projects currently under way in Oregon, the office will be instrumental in helping to better serve its customers' needs.

The new office will be led by general manager Jeff Madden. He has worked with Mortenson for 16 years. Madden's construction experience includes roles at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery, the Wisconsin Energy Institute, University of Colorado Research Complex 2 and the Terascale Simulation Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Mortenson is headquartered in Minneapolis and now has 10 offices across the U.S., Canada and China.
