Gamesa says it will supply 15 of its G90-2 MW turbines for a wind farm located in Italy's Brindisi province.

According to Gamesa, the order is the first signed with Toshiba Europe T&D, the project's engineering, procurement and construction contractor.

Gamesa has supplied more than 1.5 GW of installed capacity since it entered the Italian wind market in 2002. Turbine installation is scheduled to begin before the end of the year, the company adds.
