Aldesa Picks Vestas Wind Turbines For Project In Poland

Vestas says it will supply 20 of its V90-2.0 MW wind turbines to Aldesa Nowa Energia for a project in Poland.

The turbines will be installed in Wicko, in northern Poland. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2013, and the project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2013.

The order includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines; a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution; and a three-year service and maintenance agreement.

Tauron Polska Energia, the second-largest utility in Poland, is the owner of the Wicko project.
