TPC Wire & Cable Corp. has introduced a new slip-ring harness for wind turbines.

The company says it consulted with several major wind farm owners to design and develop the slip-ring harness, which addresses the multiple failure modes encountered in the tower. The TPC harness was designed to be flexible at all temperatures, easy to install and last many years, TPC explains, adding that the harness is intended to increase cable life.
