UpWind Solutions Inc., a provider of asset management and operations and maintenance services for the wind energy industry, has announced that Greg Meek has joined the company as high-voltage manager.

Meek has over 10 years of experience in the inspection and repair of high-voltage wind systems, and he has worked at companies including Barr Field Service, Babcock and Brown, Florida Light and Power, GE and Enron.

"[Meek's] deep knowledge and technical skill, combined with his ability to think strategically and act proactively, will make him a perfect addition to our inspection and services team," says Peter Wells, CEO of UpWind.
