Moog Inc., a designer, manufacturer and integrator of precision control components and systems for industries such as the wind energy sector, has announced that its board of directors has elected Patrick Roche as a vice president of the corporation, effective Sept. 1.

Roche will be responsible for the corporate functions of quality, supply chain and information technology (IT). He has been with Moog for 12 years. Roche began his career as the engineering manager at Moog Ireland, subsequently becoming general manager for that facility.

Over the years, Roche has held various positions in Moog's Industrial Systems Group, including management of core product development, supply chain, process development and IT systems. He was also responsible for Moog's motors manufacturing facility in India and the industrial valves facility in the Philippines. Prior to joining Moog, he spent several years working in the Netherlands and the U.K.
