Jeff Clark, a veteran government affairs professional, has been appointed the new executive director at The Wind Coalition, a regional partner of the American Wind Energy Association.

The Wind Coalition says Clark, the former vice president of governmental affairs at TechAmerica, is well versed in state lobbying efforts on energy infrastructure and grid modernization issues. His work in the Texas public policy arena dates to 1990 when he started in the Texas Capitol as a legislative aide, the organization says.

The Wind Coalition is composed of 33 member companies, many of which specialize in the development of wind projects and the manufacturing of wind turbine components. The coalition is active in Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
