Meteo-Logic has launched a new service specifically designed to provide the wind energy industry with localized weather forecasts for wind farms.

The company's technology is used to obtain short-term wind forecasting and provide data regarding power production at wind farms. This is done to meet the service-level agreement with the relevant utility and avoid penalties arising from discrepancies between committed and actual delivery.

Meteo-Logic's service is designed to meet the specific requirements for real-time forecast add-ons for turbine management system, turbine manufacturers and consulting companies specializing in renewable energy.
